sleep... pill.. peace.

still have one hell of a hacking cough, but something i can smother once in a while.

but not a while back.

traditional November 1 festivities labor of love where we track towards the Loyola Memorial Park Marikina mainly to meet our cousins and honor the family dead (which is one set of grandparents, an aunt's husband and another aunt, all on my father's side of the family).

this year, i am reminded of how i keep dreading this day because of the funky weather. it's either too damn hot, too wet or a combination of both. this year it was partly hot and partly wet (with windless humidity to boot. argh). hence, my already hacking cough was aggrevated and by the end of the day, i was going on and on like an irritating dog.

so the minute i got home (which was at least 3 hours ago) i:

-immediately took a bath.
-downed 2 pills for my cough

and 20 minutes ago, i downed half a sleeping pill to help me sleep.

(i got the doctor in the clinic near us to prescribe me at least 10 tablets. how? by telling him i haven't slept properly in 2 1/2 years. which is true).

so... i'll probably nod off in less than 5 minutes.
