... maybe it's the vodka during the PEN meeting, I don't know.

Being surrounded by that many bona-fide writers just... *sighs* I guess it just got to me and frustrated me to no end (...but Solidaridad was such a nice bookstore. And what books too~) And being in the middle of the MIBF flurry doesn't help at all, no. My muthafriggin' computer's monitor fizzing out on me (or maybe the video card on the motherboard, which makes things thrice damned) in a crucial time like this just... aaaaaaaaaaargh!!! If you're wondering, I'm actually in my neighbor's house typing this. I'm desperate, and (thankfully) he's a nightowl.

I want to curl up inside myself for some time. Maybe I will after Sept. 2. I'll put the "Don't Disturb" sign at the door and hibernate until... *shrugs*

Read. Write. Live. That was F. Sionil Jose's advice for young writers. I'm no writer, but I'm sure losing on all three points...

I dunno Suoh, maybe you should stop looking so hard at those around you and concentrate on yourself. Just let everything go & do your stuff... things will flow more freely like that~ *hugs* I do believe you've got something special. :) Hope you feel better soon. ^-^
