Firefox freak out

Yes, still alive. Need to update on a lot of things. But first...

Freaking Firefox won't connect me to the internet. Using Flock to surf. Is slow. Give me my Firefox back. Waaaaaaaak 0__o

Okay, okay. *breathes*

Help, f-list? It isn't the anti-virus (Norton), firewall, or the internet connection (... obviously). What could it be?

I haven't the faintest idea what it could be, but please let me commiserate. There's something broke in the main computer that's keeping it from connecting to the internet, so I've been having to use my little sister's laptop all summer. Broken internets, wryyyy. ;-;

'sokay, I'll figure out something soon, I hope. And Flock is very similar to Firefox (but sans the add-ons that make surfing way easier, sadness) so its okay for now, I guess...

Aieeee, and I hope you get your main computer fixed soonish. I know how... mm, frustrating using a laptop is when the main computer is broke .__. Gaaaah, broken internets. Our own personal torture test.

Well, fingers crossed that it somehow fixes itself, lol. ^_- And it's not that bad--I'm saving up for a laptop, so this is good practice for when I have one--but it means I have to share, and I know the petite soeur doesn't really want to. XD

I'm okayish. I'm currently in the mindset that I am going to make myself okay if it kills me, and these past few days, it's sort of worked. ♥

AVG Free. You can get it from www.download.com

But yeah, you're going to need a special program to get rid of Norton. :( It's a resource hog and it takes over your computer, not allowing you to delete it.

Uch. That, I don't know. I recommend you just uninstall Norton and then troll the internet until you find the right program. A google search will probably bring up some forums, which usually verify the validity of a download. But be very safe, obviously.

Check your firewall setting and see if it's blocking your firefox as well as IM programs. You might need to include your browser and IM programs in the white list of your firewall.
