innocentlyjaded: (you who know my deepest secrets)
I've been striving to get myself back to going to the gym for at least twice a week this past month or so. So far circumstance have been against me, but I'm still sticking to my guns. Tomorrow's a special holiday so I can go and finally whip my sorry butt into action. Might as well, I'm getting... restless here at home.

On the work front. I have a job interview this Tuesday. Proofreader/Quality Assurance for MaxLifestyle, a network which has several websites about extreme sports and outdoor lifestyle activities. I really hope I get accepted for this one, the work's pretty easy (well, how it reads on the site, anyway), it pays higher (but not by much), its still pretty near (a good 30-45 minute ride away), and I'll be working near [livejournal.com profile] lethologica's office! ^__^ I waaaant this job. I think I have a pretty decent grasp of the language to be able to qualify for it.

... but I'm going to think about it if they have Saturday office hours 0__o

Right. Some phone camera pic spam!

... mm. The words "impasse" and "retrograde" have been bouncing inside my head all day. Time for a break, maybe?

still alive.

updates:

♦ I have a job. Yes, after two years of half-heartedly promising myself not to return to Makati's long and winding (or windy) streets, I'm back walking to and from buildings. I'll be working where [livejournal.com profile] sakura_ken works, on a different account though. Yes, it's a callcenter. And yes, I'll try my very damnedest to last for up to at least 6 months.

A little story: Met someone interesting in Makati yesterday. He was also applying in Sutherland. Nikolai Arcilla. A seaman by trade. Told me he was going by April, but just wanted to kill time by applying for call centers. Quite a number of call centers, by the way, most of them he skipped the training sessions XD. There I was still feeling nervous at the aspect of working again after 2 years of inactivity, and there he was, reminding me that it's goddamn okay to have fun with your job. Though I can sense that he isn't that serious in applying, I hope he gets accepted in Sutherland. I'd like someone like him as a friend.

♦ I have also returned to the gym. I still have to know my work schedule to know how I'm going to figure my gym hours are, but I promised my mom that I'd lose weight. Besides, I need to lose weight already. Previously non-existent aches and pains are surfacing.

♥ Shiina Ringo's new album Heisei Fuuzoku is extreme love! She's taken her old songs and remixed them with new arrangements and lush instrumentation. I love her completely, but somehow her stuff with Tokyo Jihen didn't grow that much on me. I love her solo, and she should release more stuff solo. I'm going to burn this album with Olivia's Cloudy Dreamer and other songs I like to keep me sane during commute to and from work (oh, for the love of an ipod or a proper mp3 player...).

♦ It's been so long since I've taken a picture. My digicam's still broken. Now, more than ever, I need to be distracted and amused and keep my roving eye busy. But of course, I have to be patient. Cameras cost money, and I barely have that. So be patient.

♦ A printer, a printer. I have a lot of things I want to print and stick everywhere but nothing to print them with.

♥ Jeremy Irons, Eva Green and Monica Bellucci are love.
