Don't get me wrong though, I love the rain. Of how rainclouds darken the sky just before the first drops of rain come hurtling to earth. Of how there's this sense of anticipation that the heavens are about to unleash either a torrent or a drizzle. On how it just soaks everything with damp.

... just not when it soaks me while I'm outside going about on an errand with a flimsy umbrella. The tree I took refuge under didn't help much because the rain came down in big large drops. My shoes were soaked through, so were half of my jeans. I made the 4-hour commute home with the sounds of squishing in my shoes. I'm just thankful the package didn't get wet ^^;;;

Ah well, I'm home, and it's time to make myself some tea.

Oh, and this thing.
